Too Many Questions...Not Enough Answers!

Below are some interesting websites to look at before you vote. I am not saying that the things said on these sites are true. But they raise enough questions that it makes the possibility of any of it being true to be pretty frightening for America. If nothing else, why are these questions being asked in the first place? Basically, ask yourself, what do I believe about the old adage of "Where there's smoke, there's fire"? If even one of these websites is siting truthful information, it should be enough to raise further questions. Don't just skim the articles. Look at them thoughtfully. Our country has its problems, but I wouldn't want to take it down the road that it could be going if any of these articles are correct and Obama is elected President of the United States. Anyone can make pretty speeches and say what he knows the people want to hear. It's called SPIN. It's lip service. We all should know by now that campaign promises seldom are fulfilled because it isn't just up to the President to make these things happen. It takes all of Congress.

Here is another question to ask yourself. The McCain campaign has just released another interesting commercial. This one speaks of how within 6 months of Obama taking office, our enemies will be seeking to test him by creating disaster for us. Come on, people! Obama isn't even a full fledged senator. He is a JUNIOR Senator. He is a rookie! And he, as well as our country, will be a prime target for our enemies if he becomes President. That alone makes him dangerous for us.

The PA judge dismissed the lawsuit against Obama and the DNC. Berg is appealing to the US Supreme Court. Berg is a Democrat and an attorney questioning his own party's candidate. All he asks is for Obama to produce a vault copy of his birth certificate and he has raised questions about the Hawaiian birth certificate being a forgery. There are good reasons for him to be questioning it. Those reasons are mentioned in some of these websites listed. Those questions alone should be enough for us to be asking our own questions. But the websites give even more things we should be asking questions about. Affiliations with the Democratic Socialist Party--this is not our Democratic Party as most of us know it. This is a Marxist party...and his "spread the wealth around" is a Socialist ideal. Another question that, whether he is Socialist/Marxist or not...the question alone raises a lot of red flags. He says he is not and has never been a Muslim. His school records have been produced and he is listed as a Muslim in Indonesia. Former friends and family members have stated, according to these websites, that he was a very devout Muslim all through his youth. So, okay, he was Muslim. Is he now lying about it to gain our trust? Since when would lies gain trust? He may be a real Christian now. But why lie about his childhood faith? So now we are reduced to his word against apparent evidence produced by others and now posted on these as well as other websites. All anyone has to do is a general search of any of his 6 (SIX) other legal names. He has changed his name so many times that I am not sure what name is his real legal name. Apparently, neither are the owners of these websites. One such person even questions if Barack Hussein Obama is his real legal name now because this Hawaiian birth certificate does not use that name and no record has been found or produced of his legally changing his name to Barack Hussein Obama. They state that if this is not his legal name, it shouldn't even be on the ballot. His Hawaiian birth certificate lists, back in 1961, his race as "African". In 1961, this was not the terminology used on birth certificates. He would have been listed as "Negro" according to at least one of these websites. By this they are saying that it proves this birth certificate a fraudulant copy. Some say it was his sister's birth certificate and has been doctored but that this one word was overlooked by the person making the changes, probably because they didn't think of it at the time. Another question raised is about his citizenship since birth. According to his school records in Indonesia, he would have had to have been a legal citizen of Indonesia to be accepted into the schools there at that time. They also did not recognize dual citizenship so his family would have had to do whatever was legal in Indonesia to have him listed as an Indonesian citizen. Since returning to the US, nothing has been documented that has been found, about his citizenship being renewed or reinstated, or any oath of citizenship having been made to declare himself as a naturalized American citizen. But, in that regard also, there is a big question about where he was really born. His current public, and possibly forged, birth certificate states he was born in Hawaii. According to the websites: 1. Hawaii at that time registered births of children born abroad, and 2. there is question that his mother was in her last stages of pregnancy while in Kenya, and was not allowed to travel until after his birth because of the airline policies at that time, and would in fact, still have to get special medical permission to travel today if at that stage of pregnancy. So, there is the question of was he actually born in Kenya and his birth registered in Hawaii. If he was, he is NOT eligible to be President.

So, now that I have given you an overview of just some of the questions being raised about Obama, take a good look at these websites. Then do some more searching on your own if you want to. And ask yourself...am I willing to put my country, my family, and myself at risk by electing someone this controversial as the President of the United States? Is the economy the real issue here? Are jobs the real issue here?

Come on, Obama, stop talking and show us the documents. Words just don't cut it!

Too many questions...not enough answers.

See:

http://www.factcheck.org/elections-2008/born_in_the_usa.html

Which reads in part:

“Born in the U.S.A.
August 21, 2008
Updated: August 26, 2008

The truth about Obama's birth certificate.

Summary

In June, the Obama campaign released a digitally scanned image of his birth certificate to quell speculative charges that he might not be a natural-born citizen. But the image prompted more blog-based skepticism about the document's authenticity. And recently, author Jerome Corsi, whose book attacks Obama, said in a TV interview that the birth certificate the campaign has is "fake."

We beg to differ. FactCheck.org staffers have now seen, touched, examined and photographed the original birth certificate. We conclude that it meets all of the requirements from the State Department for proving U.S. citizenship. Claims that the document lacks a raised seal or a signature are false. We have posted high-resolution photographs of the document as "supporting documents" to this article. Our conclusion: Obama was born in the U.S.A. just as he has always said.”

Now turn from the evidence that he was born in Hawaii. For the allegation that he was not born in the USA to be proven, there also has to be evidence that he was born somewhere else. The current claims are that he was born in Kenya.

What evidence exists that he was born in Kenya? Is there a Kenyan birth certificate? No. And I've done a search of Kenyan news online via Google and find that NO Kenyan media has ever reported that Obama was born in Kenya. Is there a record of Obama's mother having traveled to Kenya? Or even traveled outside the USA in the year that he was born? NO.

So the court's dismissal of the case before it got to reviewing the facts is just a way of cutting through the clutter. I'm sure that in this case the lawyer had no standing to sue because I've seen an earlier case against John McCain being eligible for being president because he was born outside the USA (on a naval base in Panama), and that was thrown out because the people who brought it had no standing to sue either.

In any case, there is evidence that Obama was born in Hawaii. There is NO evidence that Obama was born in Kenya.

These websites address the factcheck results also. There are many, many more websites out there addressing these issues and more. At this point in time, there isn't much more time to find out answers before Nov. 4th. The questions are out there. The fact that so many questions have arisen about this man is the main problem. Part of the fastcheck problem is that they also apparently overlooked the race as "African" which, in 1961 should have said "Negro". They would not have used the terminology we use today. But whoever "verified" the birth certificate apparently did not think of that.

Also, as stated, in 1961 at least, Hawaii was documenting/registering not only the births that took place in Hawaii, but also births that took place abroad. This means, even though his birth certificate was registered in Hawaii, he may not have been born there.

Re: "Part of the fastcheck problem is that they also apparently overlooked the race as "African" which, in 1961 should have said "Negro".'

What you ignore is that the officials of the State of Hawaii have said many times that the document that is pictured on the Obama web site and which was discussed at length by FactCheck and PolitiFact, was issued by the Hawaii government.

Now, as to the word Negro. You have lept at this assumption because that was the term that Americans used in the 1960s, and we assume that the officials in Hawaii wrote down that word. However, the officials in Hawaii have been asked about this, and they say that it was their practice to write down any description of race that the person provided.

And the person providing that description was not an American, it was Barak Obama's father, an African black man. We cannot say now, since he is dead, what word he used in 1961.

For more details, read this from PolitiFact:

As a fact-checking news Web site, we went to extensive lengths to sort out the truth. We got a copy of his 1992 marriage certificate from the Cook County (Ill.) Bureau of Vital Statistics. His driver’s license record from the Illinois Secretary of State’s office. His registration and disciplinary record with the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois. Not to mention all of his property records.

Not one of these documents shows a Muhammed (or Mohammed) in Obama's name. They all read "Barack H. Obama" or "Barack Hussein Obama."

The ultimate document we sought was Obama’s birth certificate. Unlike the other documents, Hawaii birth certificates aren’t public record. Only family members can request copies, so when the campaign declined to give us one, we were stalled.

On June 13, 2008, Obama’s campaign finally released a copy, while launching a fact-check Web site of its own, Fightthesmears.com. The site is a direct response to allegations about Obama that won’t go away: He’s Muslim. He took the oath of office on a Koran. He refuses to say the Pledge of Allegiance. PolitiFact has researched all of these accusations and none of them are true.

When the birth certificate arrived from the Obama campaign it confirmed his name as the other documents already showed it. Still, we took an extra step: We e-mailed it to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real.

“It’s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate,” spokesman Janice Okubo told us.

Then the firestorm started.

• Where is the embossed seal and the registrar’s signature?

• Comparing it to other Hawaii birth certificates, the color shade is different.

• Isn’t the date stamp bleeding through the back of the document “June 2007?” (Odd since it was supposedly released in June 2008.)

• There’s no crease from being folded and mailed.

• It’s clearly Photoshopped and a wholesale fraud.

• • •

At PolitiFact.com, we’re all about original sources. We don’t take anyone at their word or take the reporting of other media organizations as proof. We go to the heart of the story, the source of the truth — original, corroborating documents.

When the official documents were questioned, we went looking for more answers. We circled back to the Department of Health, had a newsroom colleague bring in her own Hawaii birth certificate to see if it looks the same (it’s identical). But every answer triggered more questions.

And soon enough, after going to every length possible to confirm the birth certificate’s authenticity, you start asking, what is reasonable here?

Because if this document is forged, then they all are.

If this document is forged, a U.S. senator and his presidential campaign have perpetrated a vast, long-term fraud. They have done it with conspiring officials at the Hawaii Department of Health, the Cook County (Ill.) Bureau of Vital Statistics, the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois and many other government agencies.

Sounds like a Vince Flynn novel.

Peter Goelz knows a little something about conspiracy theorists.

He was managing director of the National Transportation Safety Board in 1996 when TWA Flight 800 crashed off Long Island, killing 230 people. While the NTSB’s investigation found no evidence of sabotage or terrorism, the Internet was stocked with insistent accusations.

“We were right at the beginning of this Internet lunacy,” Goelz said in an interview with PolitiFact. “And there were a variety of crackpot Web sites and Web commentators that generated all sorts of rumors. The principle one was that TWA in fact was shot down by an errant Navy missile in ... a live-fire exercise off the Hamptons.”

Nine miles off Long Island, in the middle of summer. And then a full-scale coverup by the Navy and all the sailors involved.

“I am sure that we spent another $10-million, perhaps $20-million, out of a $50-million investigation, to just knock down and put to bed these kinds of rumors, these insidious rumors,” Goelz said. “We felt like we had to answer every question because it was such a public and dreadful and confounding event.”

Goelz, who is now a communications consultant in Washington, D.C., says the Internet has given a platform to anyone to say anything. And a way to find others who want to hear it.

“Online, they can be almost anything,” he said. “They can be the crusading investigators that they always wanted to be.”

The Hawaii Department of Health receives about a dozen e-mail inquiries a day about Obama’s birth certificate, spokesman Okubo said.

“I guess the big issue that’s being raised is the lack of an embossed seal and a signature,” Okubo said, pointing out that in Hawaii, both those things are on the back of the document. “Because they scanned the front … you wouldn’t see those things.”

Okubo says she got a copy of her own birth certificate last year and it is identical to the Obama one we received.

And about the copy we e-mailed her for verification? “When we looked at that image you guys sent us, our registrar, he thought he could see pieces of the embossed image through it.”

Still, she acknowledges: “I don’t know that it’s possible for us to even say beyond a doubt what the image on the site represents.”

And there’s the rub. It is possible that Obama conspired his way to the precipice of the world’s biggest job, involving a vast network of people and government agencies over decades of lies. Anything’s possible.

But step back and look at the overwhelming evidence to the contrary and your sense of what’s reasonable has to take over.

There is not one shred of evidence to disprove PolitiFact’s conclusion that the candidate’s name is Barack Hussein Obama, or to support allegations that the birth certificate he released isn’t authentic.

And that’s true no matter how many people cling to some hint of doubt and use the Internet to fuel their innate sense of distrust.

Then, there is the Kenyan side of the story, the Kenyan allegations.

I asked:

What evidence exists that he was born in Kenya? Is there a Kenyan birth certificate? No.

And I've done a search of Kenyan news online via Google and find that NO Kenyan media has ever reported that Obama was born in Kenya.

Is there a record of Obama's mother having traveled to Kenya? Or even traveled outside the USA in the year that he was born? NO.

These questions are just as valid, and get closer to the issue of Obama allegedly being born outside the USA than the birth certificate issue. After all, the certificate from Hawaii is an official government certificate, the question of whether Obama was born in Kenya has NOTHING to support it whatsoever.

Some may say, "I have heard that Obama's Kenyan grandmother said she saw his birth in Kenya." This turns out to be an unsupported allegation by Berg, the attorney who brought the first case. He claims to have an audio tape of the grandmother saying this BUT HE HAS NEVER PLAYED IT TO ANYONE!

So, if the people who claim that Obama was born abroad have evidence, why don't they release it?

capirani said...

I am not making any assumptions here. All I am saying is that these questions have been addressed on these websites. I did not even make any decisions that they are true or not. The problem is that the questions are even being asked in the first place. There is more than just Berg behind all of this. And, of course, if Hawaii had as its practice to register births from abroad as Hawaiian birth certificates, of course it would be done by the Hawaiian government. That still does not prove he was actually born in Hawaii, or if his birth was just registered there. I have no answers. I am only posting that since there are so many questions, and no proof either way, maybe it is too soon to be electing this man as our President. I am a believer in the adage that where there is smoke there is fire and even though that is not always the case, in most instances it is. The birth certificate is just one of many, many uncertainties about Obama. The fact that it has gone this far is just a symptom of the complacency of the people of this country and that they will accept a candidate on the basis of his or her words alone and how well those words fit in with their own personal goals.
I have not made the accusations. I have only posted a small number of the many websites out there that have raised these questions. With technology the way it is these days, nothing can be trusted as being legitimate anymore. We have a responsibility to check things out before we make such big decisions as to who we want to run our country.

And leaving all the questions and controversy aside...Obama does not have the experience for the job. In November 2004 he even made a public statement which you can view on YouTube saying this himself. At that time--just 4 years ago--he said he did not have the experience to do the job as President and would not have it in time to run for election in 2008. So what has changed? He suddenly has the experience he needs to handle all the situations that he will be facing if he is elected and gained all that experience in just 4 years? I highly doubt it. His record shows he hasn't done very much at all. Community organization isn't enough.

All I am saying in all of this is...people check it all out for yourselves. Do not be blinded by smooth talk and charm, both of which Obama is full of. When in recent history--speaking of back at least 40-50 years--has there been such controversy about a candidate who is so close to winning the Presidential election?

You have obviously done your own research. That's good. But are you sure? Are you trusting factcheck alone? What about all the other questions that have arisen? What about his Indonesian citizenship and all the other legal names he has used?

Thank you for your comments. Just understand that all of these websites do not simply address the birth certificate issues. There are many many more issues to be addressed and checked out.

To anyone else reading any of this, check for more information by searching the following names in addition to Barack Obama. Check for Barry Soetoro, as well as his other a.k.a names. If you haven't already checked these websites out, please do. Especially this one: http://texasdarlin.wordpress.com/2008/09/05/breaking-photo-documents-barry-soetoro-indonesian/ and this one: http://web.israelinsider.com/Articles/Politics/12745.htm .

Checking out all the angles is not wrong. Taking for granted that any candidate is as true as his or her word is dangerous. Especially when his word keeps changing. There are too many questions.

Over 35 years ago when I was still in high school, our teachers taught us about how people will so easily believe what is called "The Big Lie" which is basically a lie or several lies cloaked within a lot of truth. Unfortunately the truth is generally so good that the lies, which are very important, are overlooked. This is how Hitler gained his power. We cannot afford to allow another Big Lie to bring someone into power who would be dangerous for our country. As easy as it was for Hitler to manage it, think how much easier it would be today with all of the technology we have available to us.

Again, the only assumption I am making, if you can even call it an assumption, is that people need to check everything out before they vote. Do not vote blindly. In all this smoke--is there a flame burning somewhere that needs put out before it becomes a raging blaze?
